Man Eater

Landon, you better step it up. Some other local boys are trying to steal yo' woman.
Cuz every man knows, when you mess with your girl's Christmas pictures, she might kick you to the curb.

It started out all well and good...

But Landon started to lose interest pretty quick.

Lydie was patient at first...

But, a girl can only take so much, you know?

He tried to make it up to her in the end, but she was pretty put out by the whole experience.

So it made her start to wonder...
Was she better off as a single gal?

Before doing anything drastic, however, she decided to register herself on one of those LDS dating sites.

"Hi, I'm Lydia! I'm almost 7-months-old, but I measure up pretty evenly with most 4-month-olds. You know what they say, good things come in small packages! I'm a sassy girl who enjoys long walks around the neighborhood, non-bubble baths, and evenings spent playing peek-a-boo and looking at my cardboard picture books. I'm looking for a spunky boy who isn't afraid to throw caution to the wind and go on "save the stuffed animal" expeditions around my family room."

Naturally, she got a few hits right away.

Quinton said he had to get a peek at this cute girl in person.

Hank was impressed with her sense of humor.

And that sly Maximus Beck skipped introductions and went straight to second base!

Smooth moves by all, but Landon had the last laugh. With the help of his mama, he made Lydia a bracelet to remember him by while she goes out of town for the Holidays.
And as my Grandma Taylor once advised my 10-year-old self:
"A lady should never accept jewelry from a gentleman she doesn't plan to marry."
Looks like those multi-colored beads sealed the deal.

Oh, I can see that you had way too much fun with this post;-)! I'm anxious to hear the details like: "Who provided your awesome background with the festive tree & fun wall color?" and "What's holding up the Christmas pillows that are holding up Lydie & Landon?" Also, good job on adding the hearts to that darling picture of Maximus stealing a kiss:)! But my favorite pic is of Lydie in pink!!! It is sooooo cool that you included a quote from Grandma "T":)!!
